THE ROYAL CANADIANS
Early Spring, 1945. A Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXe of the Royal Canadian Air Force, 411 Squadron, engages enemy aircraft over Northwestern Europe. Initially based in France, the Grizzly Bear Squadron as it was known, fought hard during the Ardennes Offensive after relocating to Heesch, Holland in October of 1944. After chasing the Luftwaffe across Europe, 411 Sqdn. finally settled at Wunstorf, Germany and claimed a total of 86 aerial victories by war's end.
